EMANUELE LUZZATI: SOLO EXHIBITION I think that illustrating through theatre, cartoons, posters, murals, books, ceramics etc., helps me to understand more clearly the essence of each of these means, to perceive the difference between them, and to communicate more successfully with the public, especially if (as often happens) I illustrate a story on the stage, then I project it onto a screen, then I flatten it onto the pages of a book, or I design it directly for television. Some people say that my illustrations are always very theatrical, that my stage settings are too much like illustrations, and that there are too many stages and curtains in my cartoons
Its not for me to judge: I tell stories as I like and as best I can, and I must confess that I enjoy doing it. If I also manage to communicate with people and amuse them, so much the better, if not, too bad! The important thing is to be oneself. CATALOGUE |

KVETA PACOVSKÁ: SOLO EXHIBITION A book is architecture for me. It is a given sealed space into which I compose painted, written, cut and empty pages. A drawing is such as it is. It should not and cannot pretend. It expresses our feelings and our thoughts. I love all materials. They are tempting. I like to work with all. But that isnt possible. When I choose a material, I conform to its rules and I try not to violate them
